Can't you just stick to the sig campaign, in which you were accepted? What's the point of this sig campaign "monkey branching"?

Users choose campaigns primarily based on the rate offered, so even without checking the examples you provided, I'm 99% sure that's the reason.
With the number of campaigns out there today, this is very common.
