Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026. This policy covers cinexa.net (and legacy hosts that still redirect here) and the Cinexa Bitcointalk Tools browser extension / userscript.

What we process

Bitcoin or PGP signature material you submit for verification (message text, address, signature, or public key).
Bitcointalk usernames scanned for shared-address dossier hints when you use the extension or userscript on bitcointalk.org.
Text you paste into the AI Text Detector (processed to return a score; not sold).
Signet addresses you submit to the sBTC faucet, so we can broadcast a test payout.
Optional privacy accounts: a username and password you choose, plus a hashed recovery token, so you can store private Flow Explorer address labels.
Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.

Third-party processing (AI Text Detector)

The AI Text Detector may send submitted text to Hugging Face Inference (open detector models) when a free API token is configured. The sBTC faucet broadcasts Signet transactions through mempool.space. Its captcha is drawn on this server, and the answer stays in your session. Do not paste secrets, private keys, or confidential documents into these tools.

What we do not collect

Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords - never paste them into any Cinexa tool.
Your Bitcointalk login credentials or cookies.
An email address for privacy accounts - signup is username and password only; we show a recovery token once for password reset.
Browsing history outside the pages where the extension is allowed to run (bitcointalk.org) and API calls to cinexa.net.

How data is used

Submitted verification and dossier lookups are processed on our servers to return a result. Responses may be cached briefly to reduce load. Private Flow Explorer labels are stored only for your account and are never shown to other users. We do not sell personal data.

Chrome extension permissions

storage - caches shared-address hints locally in your browser.
https://cinexa.net/* - calls our verification and forum dossier APIs over HTTPS.
Content script on bitcointalk.org - adds verify buttons and shared-address warnings on forum pages.
